Quire is a small team.
We like it that way.
We are engineers, a former bookkeeper, a former CPA, and a growth person who has spent years watching small accounting firms evaluate software. Between us we have built fintech products, run real accounting practices, and had more conversations about document collection chaos than any of us expected to.
We built Quire because the problem had a known fix that nobody had built properly for the firms that needed it most.
We are based across Lagos, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Birmingham. We work in the open.
Hussain Yusuf
Founder & CEO
Hussain studied accounting, then taught himself to build software the same afternoon he graduated. He started Quire after years of watching accounting firms lose thousands of hours a year to a workflow problem that had a known fix.
Sophie Clarke
Head of Product
Sophie spent five years at a practice management software company before joining Quire. She knows the accounting software landscape from the inside and builds Quire around how accounting firms actually work, not how software companies assume they do.
James Harrington
Head of Engineering
James has spent twelve years building financial and compliance software, most recently at a London fintech before joining Quire. He is responsible for the infrastructure that makes Quire's magic link system secure, fast, and compliant with the data requirements accounting firms operate under.
Chloe Baptiste
Head of Content
Chloe ran a bookkeeping practice for six years before moving into content. She writes about accounting operations from the inside — not as a marketing exercise, but because she spent years living the exact workflows she now explains. She leads all content and SEO at Quire.
David Mensah
Growth Lead
David spent four years in business development at a UK accounting software company, which means he has had more conversations with small accounting firm owners about software decisions than almost anyone. He runs growth at Quire and writes the market analysis and comparison content.
Amara Singh

Amara worked as a CPA for eight years before joining Quire. She is the team member who has actually sat at the accountant's desk during tax season, composed the follow-up emails, and felt the exact pain Quire is built to fix. She runs customer operations and writes the compliance and tax season content.
